Opening Our Doors, Opening Our Hearts: Berg Öckerö Family Day 2025
On May 24, 2025, our Berg Öckerö office proudly opened its doors to not just employees—but to their families as well—for a memorable and heartwarming Family Day.
As the pioneering team in this trial initiative, the Öckerö office welcomed more than 100 adults and 50 children into our workspace to experience firsthand where their loved ones spend their working days. If all goes well, we hope to bring this meaningful event to more Berg offices in the future. The aim? To care for our employees by creating meaningful connections with the people who matter most to them—their families.
A Day of Discovery and Togetherness
From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary day at the office. One of our manufacturing facilities was transformed into a festive venue, buzzing with laughter, curiosity, and the smell of freshly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. Our very own Öckerö employees took the lead—preparing Swedish fika, manning the BBQ, and guiding our guests through the day’s activities.
Families explored the site with a fun, interactive quiz walk, giving both kids and adults a chance to learn more about Berg’s engineering, innovation, and culture. For many, the highlight was getting up close with our giant propellers—touching the impressive scale and craftsmanship that defines Berg’s work.
Special Guests and Shared Moments
Adding to the spirit of unity, our CEO and his family joined the festivities, helping serve hamburgers and coffee, and chatting with guests. Their presence was a testament to the importance of connection and inclusion at every level of our organization.
